Join Ingrid for an afternoon of yin yoga, breath work, meditation, and an introduction to Traditional Chinese Medicine’s approach to staying healthy and vibrant through the changing seasons. Yin yoga is a slower paced, meditative style of yoga that targets the deep connective tissues and the muscle fascia throughout the body.
This time of year in New England is challenging both physically and emotionally as we transition from winter into spring. Our bodies feel sluggish after months of winter hibernation, yet we may feel restless or agitated as we anticipate the warmer weather. This workshop includes an overview of the basics of how Traditional Chinese Medicine can be used as a tool to help support us during this time of year. We will move through a yin yoga practice designed to regulate the body’s flow of energy, and incorporate breath work and meditation to help us find harmony and balance.
All levels are welcome.
